Manufacturing Alliance

2025 Manufacturing Tours start October 1; registration will open in mid-September. Stay tuned here for more information about this fall’s program!

The Kalispell Chamber founded the Manufacturing Alliance in 2013 as a vehicle to inform policymakers, legislators, the public, and the media about manufacturing’s vital leadership role in innovation, job creation, and economic vitality. The Manufacturing Alliance works to encourage policies and activities that support innovation and business success while simultaneously engaging with the Kalispell community to ensure manufacturers have access to the workforce they need. The Kalispell Chamber also assists manufacturers in expanding internationally by being the local organization to provide official Certificates of Origin.

Flathead Manufacturing (MFG) Day and Manufacturing Month is the signature event series for the Manufacturing Alliance, which falls on the first Friday in October, in line with National MFG Day. Manufacturing Month kicks off on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.  Flathead manufacturers offer t0urs focused on the community, job seekers, and students and educators.  Additional activities in the month included business networking opportunities at the UNWIND, the Coffee Connect, the manufacturing luncheon, FVCC’s Night of the Trades, and the Flathead Timber Tour.  More details about program and hosts to come throughout the year.
